The Mod, Invading your Personal Life
« Thread started on: Oct 17th, 2009, 2:33pm »

Alright, so, being the mod, I have been thinking about the group, and looking at the (comparitively) large number of new members who have joined us for this year. While as of yet there has not been much of a need for rules, I think that we should have them nevertheless in case something comes up. That being said, I would like those who have not done so yet to declare their age.

I personally (and I know my parents would as well), would like to know who exactly I'm hanging out with. I'm sure many of you could relate. I am not asking for a full disclosure of your entire life. I just would like to know what we're working with here.

If you have not yet declared your age, please enter your age in the poll above and also reply to this post stating what your age will be in November. If you have any questions or objections, you can state those here as well.

If you have already declared your age, please vote in the poll anyways. That way we have a nice graph of who we have in our group by age!

Here's the list of people whose ages I know already:

Beth -- 17
Gabrielle -- 17
Cherise (me) -- 16
Katie -- 15
Molly -- 16/17? (Katie, help me here!)
Mariella -- 15
Laura -- 16
Heather -- 21/22? (Another one I can't remember! Argh!)

If I've forgotten anyone, I apologize all over myself in advance.

Molly is sixteen - she won't be 17 till January 10th, 2010 - and Heather is 22. She is going to turn 23 on May 15th 2010. : D

I've already told y'all, I'm forty-three, male and hairy.

Gosh, you're all hopeless. If you won't even believe someone who tells you straight out, how will you ever identify people who are actually trying to to hide it?

Hehe! Good point Altariel!

I do have to say, though, the results of this poll so far have been rather interesting! For instance, according to the poll, I am the only one in my age group, and so is most everyone else except the 16 year olds.

Yeah, apparently 16 is the popular age to be. *misses being 16*

I'm nearly going to be 16 in November - I'm just one month late. : (

No shame in that, Hannah!! Glad to have you with us!!

*looks sternly at Ebee* You STILL have not told me your age. PM it to me if you wish, but I will not allow you to be evasive! *waves finger*

Gabrielle, if the reason there's one vote in the 20+ category is because you voted yourself as age 43, I am so killing you. Like that.

Alright, alright! I give in! Actually, I did happen to mention my illustrious age once on Chatzy, but you must not have been there, Cherise.

I am 65 subtract twenty-five, divide by 2, subtract seven and add six.

Does that answer your question? *grins*

Wow. I thought you were younger than that, Ebee....

And Cherise, Heather hasn't had internet for a while, so yeah, you'd better get to killing Gaby....

Hmmm...I think I need to act with more dignity and decorum. Right then! No more pond-pushing, fainting, screaming, squealing, hiding-in-corners, grinning, laughing, giggling, squeaking, oinking, clucking, or anything else that may seem...shall we say, beneath the dignity of my age.

*giggles*

I want to have as much fun as Ebee when I'm 65 minus twenty-five divided by 2 minus seven and plus six.

I'm 15!

Oh btw, I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year! *grins* It was a last-minute decision (and I mean, really last minute. Like 8:30 p.m. October 31). Thanks, Bluejane.

Do I need to write myself an introductory post on the blog, Cherise?
